Introducing Gluten Free Cookies

Published September 4, 2013 by Rubina

Recently there’s been quite a lot of interest in gluten free goodies.

Although healthier, it’s quite rather pricey!

I’ve managed to develop a cookie recipe that is gluten free.
However these will only be made on special request due to the price.

Chocolate Workshop Goodies

Published September 24, 2012 by Rubina

A few weeks ago, I hosted a chocolate workshop. The instructor was Miss Miriam Fakir, aka the Domestic Goddess from Benoni.

It went extremely well and we made quite a few things.

We made three collared mini cakes, some white chocolate cups filled with caramel, white chocolate covered truffles, ganache & almond truffles and coconut truffles.

Stay tuned for my next post on another workshop!

Have a sweet, sparkly day

Published November 9, 2011 by Rubina

Hi Everyone

Here’s the 2nd Edition to the mini cakes that I’ve been working on.

There’s a lovely pineapple mini cake with fresh cream and granadilla filling.

I also have a granadilla and fresh cream cake that’s simply gorgeous.

Some yummy eclairs that are filled with cream and drizzled or dipped in chocolate.

And last but not least, mini chocolate swissrolls filled with jam and covered in coconut.

All are truly delectable!

Biscuits Here, Biscuits There, Biscuits Everwhere!!

Published October 23, 2011 by Rubina

I’ve never been much of a biscuit baker, but for the past 2 weeks I’ve been doing just that! Baking biscuits!

I never realized how easy it was and with Diwali and Eid – ul – Adha as well as Christmas coming up, I’m sure I’ll be getting more busy with orders soon.

At between R200.00 and R250.00 a kilo, you can expect to have some wonderful biscuits available.

The Custard Biscuits and Coconut Biscuits as well as Spice Biscuits and Romany Creams seem to be selling quite well this far.

Have a look at the pictures for some ideas.
